BIS currently is providing the clerk the option to process credit cards in their office using each of the BIS packages for payment.
1. Allows the clerk’s office to process credit cards as well as offer on-line renewal processing.
2. No credit card numbers are stored, and this will prevent the clerk’s office from having any liability for credit card numbers stolen.
3. The system provides multiple reports to balance through general ledger.
4. BIS bank is the merchant account for the entire credit card process.
